Pumpkin Pie Smoothie: A Cozy Fall Favorite

There’s something about October that makes pumpkin taste even better.

This Pumpkin Pie Smoothie brings those cozy fall flavors into a simple breakfast, after-school snack, or weekend treat. It’s an easy way to make something nourishing feel seasonal and fun, and it’s simple enough for girls and boys to get involved, too.

Healthy Habits Can Be Simple

At Rise Girl™ and Rise Guy™, we believe healthy habits should feel realistic and doable.

Nutrition doesn’t have to mean complicated meals or getting everything “right.” It can start with simple choices that help students understand what it feels like to fuel and care for their bodies.

A smoothie is a great example. It’s quick, approachable, and gives girls and boys a chance to see that making something nourishing for themselves doesn’t have to be difficult.

Food Is Part of the Bigger Picture

Nutrition is one of the Five Foundations of Rise Girl™ and Rise Guy™, alongside Connection, Mindset, Movement, and Lifestyle Habits.

We include nutrition because students don’t experience these parts of their lives separately. What they eat, how they move, how they sleep, how they connect with others, and how they respond to challenges all contribute to their overall well-being.

Our goal is to help girls and boys build a healthy relationship with these habits, without pressure or perfection. Because supporting well-being doesn’t always have to be a big lesson, sometimes it happens in the ordinary moments we make space for.
